5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak Coming In A Matter Of Days

The number one most asked question we receive is when will the 5.1 / 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak come out? While the developers that work on the jailbreaks don’t set ETAs they often hint at around the time they think they will be done. This being said, earlier today Pod2G tweeted out “Thanks to awesome work of @planetbeing and @pimskeks, we’re near ready for a release. Now it’s a matter of days”. With all the hard work being done by the developers we can hope to see a jailbreak in the next few days.

The jailbreak should work for all devices other than the new Apple TV. The devices below have been tested and are compatible.

iPhone 4S
iPhone 4
iPad 3 CDMA
iPad 3 Wifi
iPad Wifi
iPad 1 (3G and Wifi)
iPod Touch 4G
iPod Touch 3G
