Rumor: Apple to sell 30-pin dock adapter for new 19-pin dock connector

Rumor: Apple to sell 30-pin dock adapter for new 19-pin dock connector

Rumors hype up products every day, but one big rumor people love to talk about is the next coming iPhone. Things such as names, specification, materials, and even release dates are what rumors can include. 9To5Mac is reporting that Apple will release a new, shorter dock connector. Traditionally, Apple has released every product with their traditional 30-pin connector. With this change, we are looking at a predicted 19-pin connector that will be proprietary to Apple. To add, a great amount of people have accessories that cost more than the iPhone themselves that require the current 30-pin connector. If Apple releases a new 19-pin connector, they are most likely to include or sell the 30-pin adapter.

Personally, it is time for change with an Apple product. Not only will the new iPhone bring new features to the table, but it will also change Apple’s cult of having that 30-pin dock connector. Also, by having a shorter connector, it’ll free up the bottom of the phone to possibly have the speakers on the bottom.
