Leaked iPhone 5S parts suggest that silent switch will become button

With the expected summer announcemet of the next iteration of Apple’s iPhone swiftly approaching, parts have been leaking from various sources all over the place. As is the usual with an Apple product launch, these leaked parts provide a small insight as to what we can expect to see in the next weeks.

This latest leak comes from Japanese parts distributor iLabFactory, and features an assembly from the side button part of the phone, which currently houses the volume buttons and silence switch.
As is apparent, where there was once two push buttons and a switch, there is now three buttons. This is likely in response to the complaint that has been heard from many, that the switch is often hard to determine the correct position and way to switch. Several other parts were also leaked, including the front facing camera assembly shown below, but there are little to no changes worth noting.
As we get closer to WWDC 2013, we will no doubt be seeing many more of these leaks, so stay tuned for the most up-to-date information.
